The vocabulary and grammar presentation was very good. They really should be given some time to write down the vocabulary words to help in the reading process. When they write the words it will be easier for them to recognize them when they see them in a passage.

Watch your spellings. You had "Read Alound Competition" on the inserted text. Good that the students did not see.

It would be very beneficial to get the students used to the word "period" to end a sentence. In American English we do not use the term "fullstop".

The activity with the reading strategy of scanning was very good. I would also mention the phrase "reading for information". I would also take the time to tell the students why a key word is a key word, i.e. the word that we are defining in the question. The worksheets looked very good. They were simple enough for the students yet were a good exercise in reading strategy.

The next two activities involved reading but had very little to do with reading strategies. It was more recall of earlier activities. There are reading activities that could have been better suited to using different reading strategies.

The last activity really was a speaking activity and not so much a reading activity. it would have been better suited being used in last months video assignment. Still the activity was done very well and the students did a great job of following your directions.

Don't forget your classroom management. Walk around the room as you are teaching and call on students by name. If you had students write a few things down you good give them encouraging praise.
